Has a lot to offer from gorgeous beaches, tourist attractions, great walks to birdwatching and is well known for its RSPB reserve site.
There is a freshwater, outdoor swimming pool just around the corner from the apartments, less than a 5 minute walk. This opens around the middle of June until the beginning of September.
Hayle also has a fantastic surfing beach called Gwithian/Godrevy which is very popular. There are several places to book surf lessons and there is a large well stocked surf shop in town where you can buy or hire any surfing equipment you may need.
If that sounds too energetic there are a couple of cafes near the beaches where you can just take in the views.
You can walk to the beach in 10 to 15 minutes but for a safe swimming beach you would need to walk for 20 minutes. The start of the beach is where the sea meets the estuary and it is too dangerous for swimming. Never attempt to paddle or bathe where the 'no swimming' signs are.
There are many fantastic coastal walks to enjoy around the area. You can get to the start of the coastal path from the properties within a five minute walk.
Hayle is a large town with a population of approximately 11000. It offers many pubs, wine bars, restaurants and take aways. There is a new small Asda at the opposite end of the harbour next to the viaduct, about a 5 minute walk away. A retail park is situated at the start of the town that has has an M & S, Boots and Next. However Hayle has many shops offering everything from food items and clothing to sporting goods and souvenirs
As Hayle is centrally located. You can easily access many other places by either public transport or driving. The train station is less than a five minute walk from the apartments and the bus stop even less.
There are several local attractions in Hayle such as Paradise Park which is only a 15 minute walk from the apartment. It's a fantastic place for children with lots to see and a superb indoor play center for children if the weather isn't good. There is Penwith Pitch & Putt which is a fun golf course for all ages & levels. One of the finest links golf courses in Cornwall West Cornwall Golf Course is in Lelant approxiamately about 1.5 miles away.

Walk past Lelant Church and through West Cornwall Golf course to reach the other side of Hayle Estuary. At the end of Porthkidney beach start the stunning coastal walk to carbis Bay and St Ives
