Marazion

Marazion is a pretty town set on the shores of Mount's Bay approximately a 10 minute drive away or st micheals mount cornwalla 15 minute bus ride. It has a good safe beach for swimming and is also popular for windsurfing, kitesurfing  and sailing.  Marazion is perhaps more widely  celebrated as the gateway to the enchanting  Saint Michael's Mount,  the jewel in Cornwall's crown.  Saint Michael's Mount is accessed by a causeway,  and at other times visitors are ferried across to the Mount in small boats

Penzance

Nestled in the heart of Mounts Bay,  is Penzance, the capital of Penwith and West Cornwall. It is about a 10 minute drive but you can jump on one of the many trains from Hayle. The buses also go to Penzance.
It is a busy market town that offers plenty of history, shops and restaurants making it an interesting place to visit

Porthcurno


Porthcurno has a stunning beach and the beautiful, world famous outdoor theatre, The Minnack, carved in to the cliffs with stunning views overlooking the sea and coastline.   It is well worth a visit just to see or alternatively to take in a matinee or an evening show


Lands End / Sennen Cove

Lands End is one of Britain’s most famous landmarks. It has a unique location and beautiful scenery. A visit to this, the most south westerly point of mainland Britain, will provide you with a really interesting & enjoyable day out. Entrance to Land’s End is free but you have to pay to park your car and visit the individual attractions on offer
It is also next to the stunning Sennen Cove, a great beach and a well known surfing area

The Lizard, the most southernly point alongside Kynance Cove and Mullion are well worth visiting
